Uprise Anti- Racism Festival London-2012

Submitted by on Friday, 21 September 2012No Comment

2012-Festival-website-e1347574648603UpRise is a pro-equality / anti-discrimination movement bringing the community together using the arts and good old fashioned conversation.

We believe change can only happen if we sit down and talk in open and honest dialogue discussing important issues and problems that affect us all, and work together on solutions. We are a mediator and bridging agent working to promote the benefits of sharing both our commonalities, and our differences.

UpRise is a voluntarily-run movement whose mission is to make real advances towards equality using our diverse understandings and experiences.

All funds raised help us continue to put on the free UpRise anti-racism Festival and our ongoing activism and campaigning against discrimination, such as our UpRise Talks events. Have a look around our site! and for more information on the festival uprise.0rg
