chuka Last night we held a really good meeting at The Westminster Hub on “Working With Others.” The Hub just like like GlobalNet21 are trying to get people to discuss and debate the big issues of the 21st century. One of their next events takes place this coming Tuesday with Chuka Umunna, MP and Shadow Secretary of State for Business, Innovation and Skills. The evening will start off with a talk on how business can underpin social mobility. ‘Getting on with business: Social mobility and entrepreneurialism’ is a keynote speech by Chuka Umunna and part of the responsible capitalism agenda he has been outlining.

The event will take place in The Stage and will be followed by a Q&A session and informal reception with light refreshments, which will also be in association with NG: Next Generation, Labour’s Entrepreneurs Network. Shadow Minsters from Labour’s Business Team will also be in attendance.

Studio Café Admission

The keynote speech will be live streamed in the Studio Café. Participants with a Studio Café admission ticket will automatically be on the waiting list for Stage tickets, and will be invited to attend the talk in the Stage if there is availability.
